Survey
A survey is done to look for encroachments and to understand the property boundary.
If an encroachment is found the buyer can accept it or ask for an encroachment agreement.
Each situation is different but if you can get an encroachment agreement that will help you in the future.
There is a de minimus law that says if the encroachment is less than 6 inches it is not an issue.
